Pitching is on fire again.

Several stars on the mound — both fresh-faced and well-traveled — lit it up last season, including a rookie in Pittsburgh.

It's nearly time to see which flamethrowers can etch their names in the MLB history books after the 2025 season.

Let's take a look at the odds for the AL and NL Cy Young Awards at DraftKings Sportsbook as of June 10.

American League Cy Young 2025

Tarik Skubal: -180 (bet $10 to win $15.56 total)
Max Fried: +800 (bet $10 to win $90 total)
Hunter Brown: +850 (bet $10 to win $95 total)
Jacob deGrom: +900 (bet $10 to win $100 total)
Garrett Crochet: +1000 (bet $10 to win $110 total)

What to know: Detroit's Tarik Skubal was last season's winner in the AL, and it looks like he just might go back-to-back. The 28-year-old is off to a strong start in 2025, with 105 strikeouts in 13 starts, alongside a 2.16 ERA and 0.82 WHIP. The last pitcher to win the award twice in a row was Jacob deGrom for the New York Mets in 2018 and 2019. Second on the board is the Yankees' Max Fried, who is 8-1 with a 1.78 ERA in 13 starts.

National League Cy Young 2025

Paul Skenes: -180 (bet $10 to win $15.56 total)
Yoshinobu Yamamoto: +475 (bet $10 to win $57.50 total)
Zack Wheeler: +900 (bet $10 to win $100 total)
Chris Sale: +1400 (bet $10 to win $150 total)
Logan Webb: +1800 (bet $10 to win $190 total)

What to know: Pittsburgh's Paul Skenes can't buy a win. He is 4-6 through 14 starts, but most of that has to do with a lack of offensive support. He has a 1.88 ERA and 92 strikeouts so far this season. He's lost four of his last five starts, but in those five starts, he's allowed a combined seven earned runs while striking out 32. In those four most recent losses, the Pirates scored a combined four runs.
